Who this course is for

This course is for anyone aged 19 or over who is interested in working within the children and young person's workforce.

Must be aged 19 or over and have lived in the UK or EU for a minimum of three years.

For full funding you must be:

  • aged 19 or over
  • receive any state benefit payment (evidence required)
  • unemployed or working less than 16 hours and seeking employment

What you will study

This qualification aims to:

  • raise awareness of the issues surrounding mental health difficulties
  • dispel some of the myths and misconceptions frequently linked to mental health issues
  • develop learners' knowledge of the rights of those with mental health issues
